Ben's Hens Giveaway

In order to celebrate Ben's Hens Birthday in July, as well as our local Wayne County Fair in August, we would like to offer a Ben's Hens Giveaway. This allows us to give back to our Members / Friends / Community.

When can you enter the Giveaway?

Opens Wednesday 22 July 2026 and closes on Sunday Evening at 11:59 pm 16 August 2026.

How do I enter?

For every $8 you spent to purchase any of Ben's Hens products, you will receive one entry.

For example:

1 Dozen Chicken Eggs for $8 = 1 entry
1 Whole Chicken (4.0 lbs) for $32 = 4 entries

Where do I enter?

Connect with Ben Jackson via phone, email or at the Market on Saturdays. In addition, look for the Plastic Eggs in the Wayne County Fair. A few of them will have free entries contained within.

How many Winners will be selected?

There will be 10 prizes given to 10 separate households / individuals. The top 3 (Gold, Silver, Bronze) will be receive the best prizes. The remaining 7, will receive free eggs from Ben's Hens.

When will the Winners be selected?

Winners will be selected on Monday 17 Aug. 2026. The winning entries will be contacted by Ben Jackson.

As more entries are received, the Giveaway Prizes (Bronze, Silver, and Gold) from Ben's Hens will increase by an average of $50 in value. These break points are Base, 300, 600, and 1000+. Please share this Giveaway, so we can increase this number to the moon. =D

Ben's Hens - The 4th - 10th place winners will receive 1 - 2 Free Dozen Eggs from us. Depends on egg supply at the time.

When can you enter the Giveaway?

How do I enter?

For every $8 you spent to purchase any of Ben's Hens products, you will receive one entry.

Each entry will be assigned a specific number.

For example:

1 Dozen Chicken Eggs for $8 = 1 entry
1 lbs of Ground Lamb for $20 = 2 entries
1 Whole Chicken (4.0 lbs) for $32 = 4 entries
Prepay $80 toward a Thanksgiving Turkey = 10 entries
Add $200 to your Member Balance = 25 entries
Whole Lamb Share for $450 = 56 entries
The purchase of a Ben's Hens Membership will receive free entries for this Giveaway. Visit the Membership page for more information. This option is only available for a limited time at the beginning of the year.

Where do I enter?

Connect with Ben Jackson via phone, email or at the Market on Saturdays.

With the exception of Saturday, he will be located working the farm in Fremont.
You can find Ben at the Capitol Reef Farmers' Market on Saturdays.
In addition, Ben's Hens plans to participate in the Parade for the Wayne County Fair. Some of the Plastic Eggs tossed at the Parade will have free entries contained within.

How will the Winners be selected?

We will use https://www.random.org/sequences/ to run a random sequence generator. This will randomize a set of numbers (entries) and the top 10 will become the 10 winners. However, as mentioned in a previous question, the top 10 must be separate households / individuals, so some of the numbers on the report may be scratched.

Do I need to purchase in person?

No, you can Prepay and pick up products at a later time or date. You can Prepay via Cash/Check, Venmo, or Credit Card, just be sure to communicate with Ben.

Do I need to pick up purchased products now?

No, you can pick up products at a later time or date. Coordinate with Ben. Just remember, in order to be eligible for the Giveaway, the Prepay needs to happen before the deadline.

I am already a Ben's Hens Member, how do I participate?

Simply put, just add more money to your Member Balance. Similar to Prepaying mentioned in a previous question.

I don't live in Wayne County or won't be there for Fair Weekend. How do I participate?

No worries. Communicate with Ben, Prepay, and pick up products at a later time and date. Please note, shipping is NOT an option, so you will need to travel to Fremont at some point.
