When you purchase a Membership, you are purchasing access to benefits and discounts. You are simply prepaying now for access to our Instructional Videos, Artwork, and discounts toward gifted products later. It is similar to having store credit and you have the opportunity to receive 100% of the value you invest.

The breakdown is as follows: $1,000 is set aside specifically to cover the cost of the 1/4 Beef Share. The remaining $600 will go towards your Ben's Hens Membership to be use for our products.

Gold Member | $8,000
Gold Membership is for the household interested in directly assisting Ben's Hens with infrastructure and / or improvements to the farm. Specifically, we need to make significant improvements to our Processing Area.

Every year Gold Membership is active, you will receive 16 Free entries ($160 value per year) for our yearly Ben's Hens Giveaway.
​
Gold is available to purchase year round; However, a very limited amount of Gold Memberships can be active at a time.
​
Gold does NOT have a time limit. This could be 2 years, or it could be 8 years. You will receive Gold Member Benefits until your Gold Member Balance has been exhausted. Because of this, you will NOT be able to add to your Member Balance while Gold is active. In addition, current Member Balance can NOT be applied to the purchase of Gold. The full amount is required for the purchase of Gold.

In addition, if you would like to partner with another household, we are willing to waive the requirement of One Household Per Membership. Discuss this with Ben Jackson.

Pair this with some Beef shares. $2,000 of this can be set aside specifically for one 1/2 Beef Share OR two 1/4 Beef Shares at different times. The remaining $6,000 would go towards Ben's Hens products.

Potential Questions
What forms of payment can be used?
Cash or Check (preferred)
Venmo or CashApp
Credit or Debit Card (~4% convenience fee will be applied)

Is there a payment over time option?
Yes, you can make payments over time. Discuss it with Ben.
​
Your final payment must be made by 31 March 2026. If this date doesn't work for you, please discuss it with Ben. You will be treated as a Retail Member until your final payment is made. Once the final payment is made, all transactions during the payment period will be backdated to reflect member discounts.

What about a refund?
You can request and discuss a refund with Ben up to 1 week after your initial payment. This option is available until 28 February 2026. After this 1 week period, refunds are no longer an option. Due to the nature of farming and the CSA model, these funds have been used toward the purchase of this years feed, animals, and supplies.

However, you can transfer your investment to another person or have it become part of donations to the Wayne County Food Bank. Visit our Preorder Information page for more information.

What happens if I receive more than my available Member Balance?
You will be required to add to your MB for any amount that is NOT covered by your MB. You will still receive your discounts and benefits.

What happens if I have Member Balance available at the end of the year?
In short, any MB remaining can be used toward renewing your Membership the following year. If you choose to NOT renew, your MB will be available to use toward the purchase of Ben's Hens products, but at Retail prices. If you would like more details, contact Ben.

What about product delivery?
Yes, product delivery is available to most of Utah. A ~10% delivery fee will be applied. Expect this to be between $5 - $100. Discuss it with Ben Jackson. At this time, shipping is NOT an option.
What is a Ben's Hens Membership / Food Future? It is simply this: securing your food future by investing in Ben's Hens. This is accomplished by prepaying for food now, with the expectation and promise of receiving food at a later date. Because you are willing to invest in your food now, you will receive benefits and discounts when you pick up and purchase your food later.
Purchasing a Membership now (even with the benefits and discounts), has more value to Ben's Hens than purchasing products at a Retail price later. So please, do NOT wait. The future of Ben's Hens depends on you.
